Unless you are a dedicated enemy of the romantic and picturesque--or have the bad luck to come on a very cloudy day--you should look for a chance to watch a Ko Sichang sunset. Most of the year you can do this from a deck chair at Tham Phang Beach, but more atmospheric viewing is to be had from the Tham Phang point, Khaao Khaad point, or--our favorite--the cliffside terrace at Sripitsanu Bungalows, where a cold beer helps the sun slip down as smooth as silk.
