Site Map
The underlined, blue entries below are pages you can go to by clicking. Where there's no underlining, click the column heading and then the appropriate link on the page that appears. Tips on browsing can be found below. The site has two main sections: Beach, Do..., More>> and Festivals, Nightlife..., <<Main. You click on More and Main respectively to move between them.
Ko-Sichang.com collects no user information, and uses no Active-X controls (little programs which some people use to make trouble on computers that see them).
The site has been designed to work
with Internet Explorer versions 5 and above, and secondarily with
FireFox. (I think FireFox is distinctly better than IE, but at this
writing--17 March 2005--IE still has far the larger number of users.
We will be testing the site with Apple's Safari as soon as we find
an up-to-date Mac. If your computer is so old you can't use any
of these, apologies (and congratulations on keeping your faithful
silicon servant alive so long).
Pages are designed for screens 768 x 1024 pixels. If your screen
resolution is this or higher, you can see most pages without needing
to scroll by pressing F11 or selecting View>Full Screen in FireFox
or IE. Return to normal view with all browser toolbars showing by
pressing F11 a second time. You can move backwards and forwards
by pressing <Alt> and the left-arrow / right-arrow keys.
The Google search bar on each page is preset to search inside Ko-Sichang.com; if you want to search the whole web, click the WEB radio button first. Results will appear in a new window; they will be the same as if you had gone to Google.com to begin your search.
You can bookmark anything that appears as an underlined, blue entry above; the other headings are parts of pages that cannot be recorded, because they're only visible by navigating within the page.
I'd be very happy to get your comments and suggestions. If you have photos or information (badly needed in areas concerning nature), I'd love to include them, and give you a credit on the site.
